• Process customer orders, plan & optimize shipments into loads, tender freight to third-party carriers.
• Update current shipment information Transportation System.
• Provide detailed instruction to various customers & associates from other shifts by phone and e‑mail.
• Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process oversight, auditing, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
• Complete daily logs and trackers.
• Identify cost savings opportunities during load planning.
• Coordinates with carriers to ensure on‑time delivery by tracking trucks for pick‑up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary.
• Provides load exception investigation and reporting.

• Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Relevant/Related Work Experience can be substituted for Degrees.
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (vlookups and pivot tables).
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Coordinates with carriers to ensure on‑time delivery by tracking trucks for pick‑up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• A good attitude and ability to work in a team setting.
• Able to sense urgency and know when to elevate for assistance.
• Can create and maintain professional relationships with customers and carriers.
