PMPay: $21.00 / hr Resumes are required. Candidate must have at least 1 year RF scanner experience. Loading and offloading trailers is a plus.

A receiver is responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying inventory, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to maintain efficient warehouse or business operations.

Key Responsibilities Receiving and Inspecting Shipments: A receiver checks incoming deliveries against purchase orders or invoices, inspects items for damage or discrepancies, and signs for deliveries to confirm receipt.

Inventory Management:
They update inventory records, track stock levels, and ensure items are stored in the correct locations. This includes labeling products, performing inventory adjustments, and coordinating with production or sales teams to stage materials as needed [Indeed]Indeed+2.Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Receivers maintain accurate records of received goods, process returns for damaged or incorrect shipments, and update databases or inventory management systems

Communication and Coordination:
They liaise with suppliers, delivery drivers, warehouse staff, and management to resolve discrepancies, schedule deliveries, and ensure smooth operations.

Safety and Compliance:
Receivers follow safety regulations in the warehouse, including proper handling of heavy items and use of protective equipment. Some roles may require knowledge of certifications such as HACCP, WHMIS, HAZMAT, or OSHA standards
