Central Bank is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of Teller. The Teller works in a fast‑paced, fun environment with opportunities for advancement and is the face and voice of our company, providing a professional image to customers.
ResponsibilitiesProcess financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner. Transactions may be completed via the lobby, drive‑thru, night‑drop, mail, or ATM.
Balance assigned cash drawer and investigate differences where applicable.
Actively listen to customers and communicate in a friendly, positive manner at all times, even in difficult situations.
Recognize customer needs and cross‑sell bank products/services in a customer‑centric manner and make referrals for traditional and non‑traditional products and services.
Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures and regulations.
Qualifications- Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, PC and typing skills, and the ability to count U.S. currency.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong customer‑relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
- Look for cross‑sell opportunities in a customer‑centric manner.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be available to work throughout the year; this is not a seasonal position.
