Overview:
Braun Home, mid-Missouri’s premier provider of services for adults with intellectual disabilities, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Developmental Assistants to join our team in Fulton. Job Details:
- Pay: $17 per hour to start

Schedule:

8-Hour Shifts with Opportunities for Overtime and Weekend Work as Needed.

Requirements:
- Be at Least 18 Years Old.
- Have High School Diploma or GED preferred but can obtain DSP training in absence of diploma.
- Have a Valid Driver’s License or Non-Driver .
- Be a US Citizen or Possess a Work Visa, with Proof of SSN, Birth Certificate, or Legal Documents Acceptable for I-9.
- Have Flexible Availability, Able to Maintain a Minimum of 16 Hours per Week for Part-Time or 40 Hours per Week for Full-Time.
- Pass a Criminal Background Check

Responsibilities:
- Follow and implement Individualized Support Plans (ISP) to assist residents in achieving their goals.
- Document daily activities, progress, and any concerns in individual logs.
- Assist with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Provide guidance on social skills, decision making, and daily living activities.
- Administer and track medication schedules.
- Ensure a clean and orderly environment.
- Communicate effectively with home managers and professional managers regarding residents' needs and concerns.
- Participate actively and positively in all tasks and activities with residents.
- Maintain detailed records of personal spending, health concerns, and any behavioral issues.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in behavioral health is preferred but not required.
