Salary: $86,250–$121,064 annually

The SORTS program has a 125‑bed capacity, and clients in this program are civilly committed under Missouri State Statute 632.480 (the sexually violent predator law). The SORTS Program follows the Risk–Needs–Responsivity principles and integrates a variety of treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Clients are offered Process Groups, Psycho‑educational groups, and case‑management services. There are also some individual therapy opportunities.

The Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services (SORTS) Program is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our program. SORTS utilizes evidence‑based treatments to work with our challenging population of clients who have been civilly committed. SORTS primarily utilizes CBT with our clients, but uses elements of DBT and other treatment modalities as well. You will be responsible for providing case management, group therapy, and individuals with clients with a variety of diagnoses who have a history of sexual offenses.
You also will be part of multiple multidisciplinary treatment teams within the program, which includes social workers, other psychologists, psychiatrists, rehabilitation services providers, nurses, and direct care staff. You will also work closely with clients as they work towards achieving a conditional release. Strong documentation skills are needed. This is also an opportunity for this person to complete psychological assessments as needed.

- Doctorate in Psychology
- License eligible or licensed as a Psychologist in Missouri
- Training and/or experience with forensic clients within an inpatient setting
- Training and/or experience treating sex offenders
