Allied Travel Careers is working with 22nd Century Healthcare, Inc. to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fulton, Missouri, 65251!
Duration: 03 months to long-term
Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy evaluation and treatment services.
- Administer treatment that requires the advanced skills of a licensed clinician to address speech, language and swallowing impairments to include adults referred to speech therapy by the physician.
- The speech therapist will perform the following tasks: perform an evaluation; establish goals; plan speech therapy treatment programs.
- Determine the need for referral to a medical specialist, dentist or counselor.
- Evaluate speech, language and swallowing functions by administering the appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Interpret findings to medical professionals, consumers and appropriate consumer caregivers; ensure services are delivered in a safe and effective manner; complete documentation according to the state agency's guidelines and policies.
