Summary

Reviews all loan types for document package completion, accuracy of documentation, perfection of security interest, and accuracy of loan setup on the Bank's core system. Ensures the bank is in a secure lien position.

Principal Accountabilities

75% – Review all documents for loans and renewals to ensure that the bank's security interest is perfected and that bank policies are adhered to. Ensure that all documents are imaged or noted as missing.

15% – Document all exceptions found during loan reviews. Review all documents submitted to clear exceptions and update the exception system as appropriate.

5% – Answer branch questions related to exceptions and help to educate branch personnel on how to clear and avoid exceptions.

5% – Perform other duties as assigned (e.g., UCC monitoring, appraisal violation report).

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience with loan documentation review and loan systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge with Word, Excel, and Access.
