The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for all hiring activities, from creating to interviewing candidates and closing hires. Responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers.

• 75% Assist with recruitment, interviews, selection, and onboarding, including job posting, social media and job board advertising, applicant tracking, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment testing.
• 5% Assist with Affirmative Action Reporting, including data collection and verification.
• 10% Assist with employee performance standards, coordinate and track annual reviews and goal setting.
• 5% Maintain and secure confidential employee records.
• 5% Provide backup support for other HR activities as needed.

Bachelor's degree with 3 years of HR experience, including at least 1 year in recruiting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor in written and oral interactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and collaborate across organizational levels.
• Understanding of workforce management techniques, conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of recruitment, termination, promotion, and retention procedures.
• Analytical skills, active listening, research ability, data analysis.
• Attention to detail, initiative, time management, confidentiality, adaptability.
