The Material Handler is responsible for shipping finished goods and maintaining materials that support our customers and production lines. Duties involve stocking, cutting, shipping, and/or moving finished goods and materials/supplies. Operates material handling and warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a weekend night position, working Fri – Sun 6pm to 6am.

• Assist with unloading and loading incoming and outgoing freight
• Obtain and move finished goods and materials with the use of an RF scanner
• Identify and package finished goods in the appropriate manner
• Use warehouse packaging equipment as needed
• Perform cycle counts of warehoused inventory
• Ability to utilize cutting lines
• Maintain 5S standards

• Understanding of basic math skills – adding, subtracting, and measuring
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format
• Ability to multi‑task
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to use judgment related to identifying potential safety hazards

• This position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% material handling, warehouse equipment operations, and/or walking and assisting warehouse employees
• Work is primarily performed on the warehouse floor
• Eye and foot protection must be worn
• Lifting of weights up to 30 pounds may occur regularly, with a potential for lifting weights of up to 80 pounds on an occasional basis
• The physical demands of the position include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and eye/hand/foot coordination
• May stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

• High School education or GED preferred
• Minimum three (3) months material handling experience
• Proficient in one warehouse function (cutting, shipping, material handling, shipping clerk)
