Corrosion Coating Pump Mechanic

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Corrosion Coating Pump Mechanics for projects located in and around Fuquay Varina, NC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Operate specialized equipment to apply Eon Coat’s water-based corrosion coating by precisely controlling spray pattern and pressure.
• Ensure consistent and even coating on surfaces while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Apply corrosion knowledge and skills to repair, install, troubleshoot, analyze, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Maintain and repair two-ball check pumps and other spray equipment.
• Operate, repair, and rebuild specialized 2-ball check plural component pumps used to mix and dispense multiple liquid components.
• Set up the pump system, monitor flow rates, and adjust pressure for proper operation.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols related to handling hazardous materials.
• Set up the spray system, including adjusting spray gun, nozzle size, and pressure to achieve desired coating thickness and pattern.
• Perform surface preparation, including inspecting, cleaning, sanding, or otherwise preparing surfaces for optimal coating adhesion.
• Set up and adjust spray pump systems, including hoses and nozzles.
