One Chevrolet of Gadsden is seeking a reliable and motivated automotive dealership Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an automotive technician with high‑quality vehicle maintenance and repair, able to maintain, repair and deliver vehicles while providing exceptional service to customers. Confidence in working independently or in a team environment is essential.

Technicians who possess an ASE certificate are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive transmissions and related systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed of any additional service needed, providing an estimate of time required.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Willingness to learn with hands‑on training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• ASE Certification or graduation from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
• At least two years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, and lift operation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Professional appearance and friendly customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills, including composure under stress.
• Valid driver’s license.
