Team One CDJR- Automotive Service Porter

Description

Team One CDJR is currently looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to maintain the dealership lot. The Lot Attendant / Porter will move and inspect vehicles for damage, move customer vehicles in and around the lot and service areas, ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and damage‑free manner, and help with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areas.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a positive attitude and professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a non‑climate controlled environment that includes enduring the heat of summer and the cold of winter and must be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.

Experience as a Lot attendant and/or knowledge of automotive servicing and repair is a plus.

• Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Move vehicles to maintain flow of traffic
• Make key tags for vehicles
• Retrieve vehicles for customers when picking up, wait at the vehicle, and thank customers for their business
• Help maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.)
• Follow all safety and security procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience preferred
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to drive both automatic and standard‑transmission vehicles
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
