Riverview’s Heart and Vascular Center was opened in 2004. The facility’s 14,000 square feet is solely dedicated to heart care patients. The state‑of‑the‑art facility houses two fully digital cath labs. The stand‑alone heart center has nine outpatient beds.

• Heart catherterizations
• PCI or angioplasty/stents
• Pacemaker implants
• Defibrillator implants
• 24/7 Cardi

• Busy Independent, two-provider cardiology group
• Interventional Cardiology
• Call schedule – 1 in 5
• STEMI and Cardiology call together
• 3 Independent IC that supports the hospital
• 2 Cath Labs. One has been newly renovated with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and the other is scheduled for renovations later this year)
• Full-time position mix of inpatient and outpatient
• Position in Gadsden, Al – Just 1 hour away from Birmingham, Al and 2 hours from Atlanta, Ga
