Description
Position OverviewRiver Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a dedicated, board-certified Psychiatrist to join our team in Gadsden, AL. This full-time position offers a dynamic blend of both inpatient and outpatient care, with half-days dedicated to each setting, Monday through Friday. Additionally, the role includes one weekend of call per month and provides the opportunity to work closely with mid-level providers to deliver comprehensive mental health care.

Mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, emphasizing collaborative and integrated care
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and consultative services in collaboration with mid-level providers.
- MD or DO in Psychiatry
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Licensed to practice in Alabama (or eligible for licensure)
- J-1 and H-1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with patient populations across child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric
- Current valid license in Alabama and unrestricted DEA registration
