Travel Speech Language Pathologist – Gadsden, Alabama (13-Week Contract)
Start Date: Mid to Late January 2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Start time: as early as 7:00 am
End time: as late as 5:00 pm
We’re seeking an experienced and versatile Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic rehab and therapy team in Gadsden, AL. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs with strong clinical skills in both inpatient and outpatient care who are ready to make an impact in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
RequirementsLicensure/Certification s: Active SLP license & BLS required
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience working with adults
Minimum 2 years in acute care
Must be able to perform Modified Barium Swallows
Outpatient experience: comfortable treating both adults and pediatrics and able to perform Estim
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies and develop treatment plans based on results.
Provide therapy in both acute care and outpatient settings.
Document progress notes and maintain compliance with medical and facility standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Use evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes.
