• Position:
  Fryer Operator
• Responsible for maintaining proper cooking procedures for the fryer.
• Inspect the fryer at start-up to ensure proper sanitation, cleaning, and assembly.
• Operate the fryer according to product specifications.
• Clean grease traps and drip pans.
• Change fryer oil as needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Must be able to work 5 days per week , with the possibility of working up to 7 days per week .
• Work shifts of up to 10 hours per day .
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, reach, pull, push, climb stairs, and lift up to 70 pounds .
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, humid, wet, and high-noise conditions .
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Fire Extinguisher Training

• Hearing protection
• Insulated neoprene gloves
• Face shield
• Chemical splash goggles (required whenever a face shield is worn)
• Chemical-resistant apron
• Slip-resistant leather or rubber boots
• Full-length pants required (no shorts, tight-fitting, or yoga-style pants; pants must not be tucked into boots)

• Pinch points on equipment such as slicers, dumpers, marina tors, mixers, pro-grills, Formax machines, and breaders.
• Exposure to sanitation chemicals, bleach tanks, ammonia leaks, carbon monoxide, CO₂ fill stations, and boil-out procedures.
• Hot surfaces around ovens, fryers, and pro-grills.

• Minimum 3 months of operator experience within the last 12 months (experience may be combined across employers).
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
