Schedule:
Nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM; every other weekend required
Contract:
13 weeks
We’re seeking skilled Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurses to join a reputable healthcare facility in Gadsden, AL. This assignment is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced environments, deliver strong patient-centered care, and can adapt quickly to new settings.
Position OverviewThe Med/Surg RN will provide comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population, following physician orders and established standards of practice. This role requires strong clinical judgement, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed and timely patient records
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control, and quality standards
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1+ years of recent Med/Surg experience
- Cerner experience preferred
- Must reside 50+ miles from facility
