Overview
We are seeking a Medical Surgical Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist with patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for any changes. The Med Surg CNA will help nurses by maintaining supplies, assisting with wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting; feed patients who need assistance and monitor intake/output.
- Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown.
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration); observe and report changes in a patient’s condition to nurses; assist with wound care under RN direction.
- Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms; ensure the environment stays clean and safe.
- Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
- Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
