Special Education Teacher

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Modify general education curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide specialized instruction in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Track student progress and update IEPs throughout the school year.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active state‑level licensure or certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Previous experience working in schools or with children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience working in a structured, school‑based setting with built‑in school holidays.
