Base pay range$65,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Are you ready to innovate and optimize our client's wastewater and recycling systems?
Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance their recycling, process water, and wastewater systems. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards while driving process improvements and managing projects effectively.
Responsibilities- Monitor and enhance process operations and equipment to meet regulatory and environmental standards.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and manage contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Assist in new plant design, detailed engineering reviews, and oversee plant startups and process upgrades.
- Collaborate with management on capital budget development and coordinate project activities to meet deliverables.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve recycling, wastewater, and process water systems.
- Conduct studies to increase recovery rates and reduce emissions, supporting waste minimization and conservation initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve chemical process issues to enhance efficiency and product quality while reducing costs.
- Ensure equipment uptime through preventive maintenance and establish technical terms for equipment and projects.
- Lead the startup of new processes or modifications and develop new operating procedures while training staff.
- Foster teamwork and maintain adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3-5 years of experience in chemical process improvements.
- Experience in managing consultants, vendors, and contractors for process design or equipment upgrades.
- Proficiency in material handling, piping, and process control design.
- Strong project management skills, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Ability to read and interpret P& and engineering design documents.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, Access, and AutoCAD.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English, with additional languages preferred.
International travel may be required, along with visits to other company locations for training during plant start-up.
