Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full Time

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on a full‑time basis at Ahava Therapy Services
, located in the Peachtree Centre – Gaffney, SC
.

About the Facility

The Peachtree Centre is a 111‑bed skilled nursing facility with 30 short‑term rehab beds. It offers long‑term and short‑term rehabilitation, as well as outpatient services, and features a state‑of‑the‑art rehab gym. The facility is committed to innovative, evidence‑based care through teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a mission to maximize each patient’s potential and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy to residents in accordance with treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.
  • Observe, record, and report resident conditions, reactions, and responses.
  • Maintain daily treatment records and progress notes.
  • Assist in consultations with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support the care of the therapy department’s equipment.
  • Participate in in‑service programs and departmental/facility meetings.
  • Access continuing education opportunities to maintain clinical competency.
  • Adhere to company and facility policies, regulatory standards, and quality improvement programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Understand reimbursement and allocate therapy resources efficiently.
  • Support the company’s mission and maintain a professional image.
  • Independently perform duties while recognizing situations that require supervision.
  • Maintain expected productivity levels.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current license or eligible under state statutes.
  • BLS/CPR certification (current or obtained during orientation).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
