The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures garments meet established quality and workmanship standards at the post-production, pre-shipment stage of manufacturing. This work directly impacts product consistency, brand reputation, and customer satisfaction.
This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience in garment inspection who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform final inspections to verify garment construction, measurements, fit, and overall appearance against samples, size charts, and tech packs
Measure garments using industry-standard apparel tools (measuring tapes, rulers, grading tools, templates) to ensure sizing accuracy and tolerances
Inspect garments and fabrics for defects such as stitching issues, seam integrity problems, fabric flaws, color variation, trim defects, and finishing issues and correct any defects if able
Verify correct labeling, branding, packaging, and care instructions according to customer and regulatory requirements
Identify quality concerns, document non‑conformances, and assist with root‑cause analysis and corrective actions
Maintain clear and accurate inspection records and quality reports to supports continuous improvement efforts
QualificationsStrong understanding of garment construction and apparel defect standards
Ability to read and interpret tech packs, size specifications, and approved samples
Excellent attention to detail and strong organization skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
Comfortable standing up to 8 hours
Good eyesight (with or without corrective lenses)
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carrying up to 25 lbs.
Required ExperienceExperience in quality inspection or quality assurance within clothing or textile manufacturing
