• Operate Cards to produce high quality sliver and perform necessary cleaning.

• Hand roller picker, steel toe shoes, OSHA approved air nozzle for compressed air, safety glasses, brush, ear plugs, gloves, and broom.

• Empty cans, .

• None; receives instructions from Supervisor or Shift Lead Person. Shift Technician to provide follow-up.

• Follow all established Plant Safety rules.
• Repair end breaks, tags, and other quality concerns.
• Doff full cans of sliver and place empty can in can changer.
• Identify blend by placingcorrectID band color on cans.
• Capture any suspected off-quality sliver. Identify with aNon-Conformance sheet, move to theNon-Conformance area next to the Yarn Mill Lab, and report to Technician, Shift Lead Person, or Supervisor.
• Patrol job and inspect forany tags in the sliver path and remove them to ensure high quality sliver is produced.
• Perform shift cleaning to ensure high qualitysliveris produced.
• Align and straighten full and empty card cans in the storage area during your shift and at the end of your shift.
• Place waste in proper containers.
• Perform all other duties as directed by management.

• Mustbe able to read and write.
• Musthave basic math skills.
• Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision.

Follow all Safety Rules andcomply withthe Job Safety & Health Analysis (JSHA). All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used as required. Any accident or near miss must be reported immediately.
