Hamrick’s, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to support the end-to-end supply chain operations for apparel products. This mid-level role is responsible for coordinating production, vendor communication, inventory flow, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise to distribution centers and retail stores. The ideal candidate will have experience in apparel supply chains, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with merchandising, sourcing, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day supply chain activities related to apparel production, purchasing, and distribution
  • Manage purchase orders from issuance through delivery; track order status and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate regularly with vendors, manufacturers, and freight partners to ensure production timelines are met
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning to support store demand and promotional cycles
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Buying teams to align product flow with seasonal assortments
  • Track inbound shipments and coordinate with distribution centers to ensure timely receipt of goods
  • Identify and elevate supply chain risks, delays, or shortages and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP or supply chain management systems
  • Assist with freight coordination, routing, and documentation (domestic and/or international)
  • Support cost control initiatives related to freight, production, and inventory management
  • Prepare reports on inventory, vendor performance, lead times, and supply chain KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or production coordination, preferably in apparel or retail
  • Working knowledge of apparel production cycles, lead times, and seasonality
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Net Suite, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and vendor-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Required Experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of import logistics, freight forwarding, or customs documentation
  • Experience supporting off-price or high-volume retail environments
  • Familiarity with demand planning or inventory optimization
