Speech Language Pathologist

Bierman Autism Centers is looking for a full‑time, center‑based Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a motivated and energetic team focused on transforming the lives of children diagnosed with autism while building a fun and creative culture  will be committed and focused on helping parents and their child grow on their terms. Our one‑on‑one approach is focused on natural play to teach foundational skills such as self‑advocacy and communication.

The SLP’s primary responsibility is to accelerate client success and coordinate care with ABA services. The SLP will formulate and implement individualized treatment plans for a caseload of clients in their assigned location.

• Direct, design, and implement program for SLP services for assigned clients
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Repeat evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines
• Maintain a caseload of 35–40 sessions or 25 billable hours per week
• Ensure client programming is ethical and appropriately individualized
• Update progress reports for assigned clients
• Properly document all activities according to professional and funder guidelines
• Keep current with professional literature, research, and best practices
• Develop, implement, and drive processes
• Drive coordination of care with ABA and speech services
• Maintain relationships with parents and conduct caregiver collaboration and training sessions
• Provide input and leadership in our business direction
• Conduct clinical presentations to staff to promote collaboration and skill development
• Attend clinical staff meetings and collaboration meetings with BCBAs
• Promote Bierman Autism Centers within the community

• Must be able to lift and carry clients who are at least 30 lbs.
• Must have hearing ability sufficient to evaluate client speech
• Must be able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan
• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing, and bending for extended periods
• Must be able to walk and run to chase clients and maintain a three‑foot distance at all times
• Must be able to attend to basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing
• Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection
• Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication on computer, electronic devices, and paper
• Must be able to transfer written data to electronic files or database systems
• Must be able to work on a computer for prolonged periods while sitting at a desk or on the floor
• Must be able to assemble, clean, and maintain therapy space, including toys and furniture
• Must be able to administer medication to clients

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
• State Licensure
• Strong organization, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams
• Excellent written and oral communication with colleagues, direct reports, and caregivers
• Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately
• Must be detail‑oriented
• Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the team across the organization
• Act with integrity and professionalism
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Comfortable operating in a primarily MacOS environment
• Proficient with or able to learn Central Reach and Tableau
• Maintain required licensure while employed

• Full‑time hours:
  Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. (no travel required)
