The primary role of the Senior Security Specialist is to provide for the Safety and Security of all Personnel, Property and Members within the Wright‑Patt Credit Union Market and to perform any additional duties assigned by the Security & Emergency Response Manager. This position will be traveling to all Member Center locations in our Columbus market.

• Burglar Alarm and Fire Paneling System Oversight/Maintenance (15%)
• Key Control Auditing and TRAKA Box Installation Projects (15%)
• WPAFB Quarterly Unit Emergency Management and Self‑Assessment Reports (10%)
• Member Center Physical Security, Site Inspections and Risk Assessments (10%)
• Video Surveillance and CCTV Program Oversight/Maintenance (10%)
• Investigations of Criminal Misconduct and Emergency Preparedness Measures (10%)
• Assisting Law Enforcement with evidentiary requests (10%)
• Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated (10%)
• Oversight and answering of the WPCU Emergency Notification Phone (24/7) (10%)

• An Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice or other related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Law Enforcement, Corporate Security, or another related field.
• 3+ years of investigative experience, including interviewing techniques.
• At least 3 years’ experience in conducting physical security risk assessments.
• 3+ years of experience in dealing with CCTV, Burglar and Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
• Prior experience in crisis management and/or emergency response.
• Be available for support during a crisis/incident (including after‑hours/weekends).
