Part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Design, develop and install software solutions. Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development & design standards & best practices. Design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families.

• Under direct supervision, responsibilities include one or more of the following for small or medium sized projects.
• Meet with clients to discuss their hardware and software needs. Help design and install customized software and hardware solutions for the customer.
• Test the performance of the installed system and fix bugs. Provide post‑installation follow‑ups.
• Begin developing relationships and maintain customer relations.
• Support the business unit with all technical related queries.
• Knowledge creating/maintaining Oracle objects (Tables, Views, Indexes, Pkgs, etc.) using SQL.
• A couple of years’ experience with JAVA coding.
• Net Beans IDE /Apache Tomcat – a plus.
• Knowledge of .xml, .dll, and .ini file manipulation.
• Senior level developer with good analytical skills that can jump in a large mature codebase and figure things out.
• Good Communication skills – will need to work with the business to be able to ask questions and understand business requirements.
• Works independently.
• Responsibilities include one or more of the following for medium to large projects:
  Develop advanced solutions to resolve customer and prospective customer issues in a logical, creative and structured manner.
• Align the client’s goals, needs and objectives to the solutions. Communicate issues and status in a clear, timely manner. Interpret specifications and build solutions to those specifications. Generate infrastructure support documentation. Evaluate and propose process improvements.
• Build and maintain a high level of knowledge about the company’s software/hardware products.
• May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience:

5 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
