Description:

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client in need of a Bookkeeper to assist with financial records and reports. Let's get to work!

Pay Rate: $23 - $25/hr

Schedule: M - F, 20 - 30 hrs/wk

Responsibilities:

Monitor and reconcile records related to various internal and external accounts.

Maintain up-to-date reports, including budget, revenue, and expense reports.

Maintain fundraising and campaign reports.

Process accounts payables and receivables using accounting software in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Prepare invoices and purchase orders.

Assist with requests for funds.

Monitor funds and account adjustments.

Utilize computer programs for reporting and tracking.

Prepare schedules and reports for annual audits and other various reports.

Prepare for tax return and scheduling.

Compile info for funds available for awards.

Handle banking responsibilities.

Comply with rules and procedures.

Provide support for meetings and events.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Skills: Critical thinking, timely decision-making, planning, organization, integrity, goal setting, effective communication, customer service skills, patience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Education: Associate's Degree
Experience: 4+ years in accounting and financial procedures
