Overview FTE – .5
Variable Shift Provides support to the Admissions Department by ensuring that charts, correspondence, and other relevant documents are accurately scanned into the document imaging system. This enhances the ability of Patient Financial Services and Admissions to effectively research and appropriately bill accounts.
Support is provided across various Admissions Department areas, including:
Emergency Room Support Unit Admissions Financial Counselors Additional clerical responsibilities include filing, document distribution, and other related administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications Minimum
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of clerical or office work preferred. Personal computer skills required. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, good communication skills, work independently and be a team player. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:

Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
NOTE:
A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
