METEOROLOGIST (AM/NOON) – WCJB at Gray Media

WCJB TV20 News seeks a talented and energetic meteorologist to join our award‑winning team. We are looking for a qualified meteorologist who can prepare and deliver weather forecasts and weather information on WCJB TV20 and across our digital platforms.

• Analyze weather data and prepare detailed forecasts
• Prepare graphics for the weather presentation
• Conversational on‑air/on‑camera presentation
• Flexible schedule for severe weather scenarios
• Post content and go live on our digital platforms

• A Bachelor's degree in meteorology
• Prior experience as a broadcast meteorologist (amount will vary depending on specific position)
• Strong on‑air communication skills
• Ability to work as part of an on‑air weather team and part of a news team
• Ability to be creative with graphic design and presentation
