OverviewCandidates must have prior experience working in a dental office handling various insurance plans to be considered.
This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and a desire to get started in the dental field. You will support all staff members and patients in the office, answering phones, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with the completion of patient treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements.

Responsibilities- Customer service: acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to DCA Policies
- Answer telephones
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment book
- Confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows/cancellations
- Register patients on the sign-in sheet
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts
- Check voicemail daily
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area
- Experience working in a dental health-care office required
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)
- Experience answering telephone calls
- Exceptional customer service skills
