Join The Cardiac & Vascular Institute – A Leader in Heart & Vascular Care in Central Florida We are excited to grow our reach and are currently seeking a full-time, Interventional Cardiologist to join our team. This position will primarily serve a patient base out of our local Gainesville clinics, Ambulatory Surgical Center, and affiliated hospitals.

Interventional Cardiologist – Position Highlights

• Schedule: Full‑time, Monday through Friday
• Scope of Practice Includes:
  • Hospital and clinic will include a mixture of bread and butter, and complex coronary interventional services and procedures.
  • Some general cardiology opportunities may include echo, nuclear imaging, TEE, Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring (CACS), etc
• Supportive Work Environment:
  • Team of 24 physicians across multiple specialties
  • Clinical support including dedicated scribes, APPs, MAs, and administrative staff
  • Call coverage shared across the group, supported by APPs
• Advanced Technology:
  • Second PET/CT suite recently launched

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
• MD or DO from a U.S.
  
  -accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiology program
• Strong focus on patient care, teamwork, and clinical quality
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Can sponsor J1 and H1‑B physician waivers
