Cardiologist; Interventional - Cardiac & Vascular Institute

Overview

Join The Cardiac & Vascular Institute – a leader in heart & vascular care in Central Florida. We are seeking a full-time, interventional cardiologist to join our team. This position will primarily serve patients at our Gainesville clinics, Ambulatory Surgical Center, and affiliated hospitals.

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Scope of Practice:mixture of bread-and-butter and complex coronary interventional services and procedures; some general cardiology opportunities may include echo, nuclear imaging, TEE, Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring (CACS), etc.
• Supportive Environment: Team of 24 physicians across multiple specialties; clinical support including dedicated scribes, APPs, MAs, and administrative staff; call coverage shared across the group, supported by APPs
• Technology & Innovation: Second PET/CT suite; growing Device and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs
• Academic & Research: Involvement in federally approved clinical trials; opportunity to support local residency and educational programs

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
• MD or DO from a U.S.
  
  -accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiology program
• Strong focus on patient care, teamwork, and clinical quality
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Eligible to sponsor J1 and H1-B physician waivers
