UF Health Physician - Gastroenterologist - Durbin Park; St. John's

Position Overview

UF Health Physician – Gastroenterologist – Durbin Park (St. John’s County) is a Full‑Time position located at UF Health Durbin Park in St. Johns, Florida. This role is part of the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville, supporting a patient‑centered gastroenterology service line.

• Provide high‑quality patient care in all aspects of gastroenterology services.
• Perform minimally invasive procedures and manage complex GI conditions.
• Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists and other members of the healthcare team.
• Communicate effectively with primary‑care providers, consulting services and referring providers.
• Assist in marketing the gastroenterology program to community physicians and managed‑care organizations.
• Participate in peer‑review, quality‑assurance, provider/departmental meetings, and other clinical and operational meetings as requested.

• MD or DO, Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Florida (Chapter 458, Florida Statutes) with at least four years of appropriate experience, or completion of an accredited residency program.
• Experience in all aspects of evaluation and treatment, including minimally invasive procedures.
• Certification/licensure in Florida and Federal DEA Certification preferred.
• Medical Degree (M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent) and completion of an accredited residency program preferred.
