Academic​/Faculty​/Research Physician

Staff Med Health Partners has partnered with the Nation's largest Healthcare System in conjunction with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM), is seeking an Internal Medicine Core Faculty for their established internal medicine residency program. Practice Highlights / Qualifications:

• Looking for physicians who are passionate about education and committed to excellence in outpatient care:
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Postgraduate clinical experience preferred
• Prior teaching or chief resident experience is a plus
• Strong commitment to outpatient care and resident education
• Comfortable leading clinic-only attending days and delivering lectures in clinic settings
• Demonstrates excellent communication, mentorship, and team collaboration skills
• Willingness to engage in scholarly activities, committee service, and didactic presentations
• Minimal call responsibilities
• Role includes 0.2 FTE administrative time and 0.8 FTE clinical time

Faculty Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor residents and medical students
• Participate in curriculum development and academic leadership
• Collaborate with UCF COM faculty and contribute to the academic mission
• Engage in scholarly activities including research, publications, and presentations

Located a short 3.5 miles from the University of Florida campus, this hospital is a 510-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida. It offers a wide range of services including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, women's care and wound therapy. With a new tower that recently opened, the facility added an 18-bed MICU, a 30-bed Orthopedic Unit and a 30-bed Postpartum Unit.

In addition, they opened a brand new 25-bed Level III NICU, expanding the hospital s capabilities to care for sick and premature infants.
