Overview
The University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time academic board certified or board eligible Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon. This position will be an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on a tenure–accruing or non-tenure accruing track. Title and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
Responsibilities- Patient care, teaching and research with emphasis on orthopaedic trauma surgery.
- Completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency.
- One-year or greater Trauma surgery Fellowship.
- Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- MD or DO degree required.
- Must be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License.
- Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire.
- A transcript will not be considered "official" if a designation of "Issued to Student" is visible.
- Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
