The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville seeks two part-time Hospitalists. Candidates must:

• Be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent

• Participation in daytime and overnight Labor and Delivery coverage, providing direct care of patients as primary provider with supervision and clinical teaching of a triage team that includes residents and medical students
• OB practices include management of low risk and high risk labor patients, caesareans, operative and spontaneous vaginal deliveries and post-operative management with direct supervision of residents
• GYN practices include floor and emergency department consultations, emergency surgical treatments with resident involvement

Malpractice will be paid; however other benefits may not be available.

The UF Health Jacksonville hospital averages  deliveries a year and has a level 3 NICU staffed by UF neonatologists.

Expected Salary: $129.79/hr

Minimum Requirements: MD/DO and BE/BC in Obstetrics & Gynecology; full unrestricted Florida Medical license.

Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
