Job DescriptionThe University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a motivated and compassionate Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialist to join our team as a full‑time, status‑dependent Assistant/Associate Professor. This individual will carry out the division’s missions of patient care, education, and research, sharing duties of perinatal clinical care in the following settings:
Clinical Settings- Ambulatory offices on and off the main campus
- Fetal Care Program – collaborative, multidisciplinary care for fetal conditions, with neonatology, pediatrics, genetics, and advanced imaging (ultrasound and MRI)
- Maternal‑Fetal Medicine condition‑specific programs including Cardio‑Obstetrics Care, Preterm Birth & Pregnancy Loss Prevention, Diabetes in Pregnancy, and Invasive Placenta
- In‑patient antepartum unit
- Labor and delivery
- Coverage of labor and delivery activities; oversee complex pregnancy care; conduct perinatal consultations
- Perform fetal ultrasound and both invasive and non‑invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Educate and supervise residents, MFM fellows, and medical students in obstetrics, surgery, and ultrasound
- Participate in hospital, medical school, and department committees; support department activities (rounds, lectures, courses)
- Engage in scholarly activities, research, and multidisciplinary collaborations to advance reproductive and perinatal science
- Medical Degree or equivalent; active or eligible Florida medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in OB‑GYN (ABOG)
- Completion of an approved fellowship and board certification or eligibility in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine
- Experience in clinical care, education, and/or research within maternal‑fetal medicine
