Join a collaborative, experienced team. Expanding Level III in Gainesville, Florida. We’re seeking a Neonatal Hospitalist to cover the newborn nursery in a high‑acuity, autonomous environment with a supportive team and a hospital committed to expanding its Women & Children’s services at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital.

Provide neonatal care and work with a cohesive group of experienced Neonatologists, NNPs, OB hospitalists, MFM, and subspecialty telehealth providers. Support family practice residents, perform circumcisions, and provide daily rounding in newborn nursery. No deliveries. 8‑hour daytime shifts. 25‑bed Level III NICU (ADC 17) and 36‑bed Newborn Nursery (ADC 14).

  • ~3,500 annual deliveries
  • Accepts all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)
  • 8 hour daytime shifts
  • Daily rounding in newborn nursery, supervision of family practice residents, circumcisions, no deliveries.
