Job Description:
The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking applicants holding a DNP or PhD in nursing with a background in psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, and/or family health nursing to fill full-time, twelve-month, 1.0 FTE non-tenure track faculty positions. We are particularly interested in expertise in pediatric primary care. This position is primarily focused on teaching in the DNP program and teaching specialty courses in the BSN program.
This position is located in Gainesville, FL. This is not a remote or online faculty position.
Key Responsibilities Teaching- Teach didactic and clinical courses in the DNP and BSN programs
- Collaborate with faculty teaching teams to ensure excellence in course delivery
- Maintain clinical expertise, including credentials appropriate to specialty and teaching responsibilities
- Engage in professional development to enhance teaching
- Participate in curriculum development to enhance DNP and BSN programs and maintain excellent student outcomes
- Collaborate and/or lead scholarship related to clinical expertise or nursing education
- Provide professional service to college, university and profession commensurate with rank
- Engage in clinical practice commensurate with clinical credentials
