Candidates for this rank shall hold the highest degree appropriate to their field or possess professional qualifications above those equivalent to the highest degree relevant to their field. They are expected to have produced creative work, professional writing, or research and successful teaching or professional experience. A candidate for this rank must have a distinguished record of achievement beyond the assistant professor level. - Full:
Candidates for this faculty rank shall be qualified for the rank of associate professor and, in addition, be a recognized national or international authority or an outstanding teacher in their field or specialization. A candidate for this rank must have a distinguished record of achievement beyond the associate professor level.
The Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy (pc.pharmacy.ufl.edu/), University of Florida, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant/associate/full professor level. Applicants should have a strong record of an independent research program in the general area of pharmaceutics, including, but not limited to, drug delivery, pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (pharmacometrics) or drug metabolism. The demonstration of or potential for developing an externally funded research program is essential.
Faculty hires will also participate in the professional and graduate instructional efforts of the College.
Areas of specialization within pharmaceutics should complement the interests of the department pc.pharmacy.ufl.edu/ and the Center for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology. The position will be located at the Gainesville or Orlando Campus of the University of Florida.

PhD and at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience in pharmaceutics and/or Pharm
D with fellowship or with equivalent at least 2 years of experience. Excellent teaching and communication skills are essential. FDLE Criminal Background Check is required. Applicants will have a strong research and publication record in the field of interest.
The successful applicant will hold a PhD Degree and/or postdoctoral and/or academic experience in pharmaceutics. Extramurally-funded research program and proven track record of publication will be considered important attributes of successful candidates.
Soft skills as well as clear written and verbal communication are essential to team-based research and communication between trainees, faculty, and external collaborators. An understanding of patient care will further be helpful for training and mentoring Pharm
