Job Description

The Department of Psychology at the University of Florida is seeking applications for a Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor in Counseling Psychology to begin August 16th , 2026. This is a full‑time, 9‑month, renewable, non‑tenure track position. The salary is competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefit package. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching and mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and a strong commitment to helping shape competent future psychologists at the graduate level.

The position entails teaching doctoral courses in the APA‑accredited PhD counseling psychology program, as well as undergraduate courses in the department. Additionally, the position involves serving as a core member of the Counseling Psychology faculty, including attending meetings and participating in area and departmental service activities.
