Classification
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of relevant experience.
- Student Engagement: Collaborate with the Senior Director to develop and execute student engagement strategies; partner with faculty, staff, and student organizations; monitor engagement levels, identify improvement areas, and implement initiatives.
- Events: Develop and annually review a comprehensive event strategy aligned with the Warrington MBA program and the College of Business plan; assess effectiveness through data analysis and feedback; lead assistant directors in planning signature events and campus engagement programs; innovate event concepts, themes, and formats.
- Staff Management and Development: Provide effective management of the student experience team (currently
4); oversee day‑to‑day operations, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources; conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. - Student Technology and Communication Resources: Strategically plan and oversee student communication channels; design and implement communication strategies leveraging technology; promote innovation and continuous improvement.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within Warrington College of Business and the broader university; act as a liaison between the student experience unit and other departments; promote teamwork and knowledge sharing. - Event Assistance: Provide support at prospective student, current student, and alumni events and engage with stakeholders.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other duties, projects, deliverables, or reports assigned by the Senior Director of Student Affairs; seek opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strategic, tech‑savvy, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven record of strategic planning, staff management, and program excellence.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Ability to serve as a positive force and collaborator within the broader MBA team.
- Strong event management skills.
- Experience as an academic student affairs officer (advising, program management, liaison).
- Experience representing the university at professional association meetings or related events.
