As our Dean of Instruction / Academic Coach
, you will serve as a core academic leader at our Broward campus. Working side-by-side with the Principal, you will directly influence classroom quality by running weekly coaching cycles, modeling exemplary instruction, leading data-driven planning, and mentoring teachers to reach their highest potential.
High-Touch Teacher
Coaching:
Lead weekly 1-on-1 coaching cycles, classroom walkthroughs, co-teaching, and live modeling to elevate daily instructional execution.
Data-Driven Instruction: Facilitate weekly data meetings with grade-level teams to analyze student mastery, address learning gaps, and build targeted re-teach plans aligned with Florida standards.
Curriculum Execution: Ensure faithful, engaging implementation of core curricula and pacing guides across grade levels.
Targeted Professional Development: Design and deliver actionable, data-informed PD workshops that address real-time classroom trends.
School Leadership Partnership: Collaborate with campus leaders to cultivate an inspiring, high-accountability academic culture and maintain 85%+ teacher retention.
What Success Looks Like (Year1)
Instructional Growth: 80%+ of coached teachers consistently meet or exceed instructional benchmarks.
Student Achievement: Measurable gains toward campus-wide academic mastery and student retention goals.
Teacher Retention: 85%+ of teaching staff retained through effective partnership, trust, and continuous support.
Key QualificationsExperience: 3+ years of K–12 classroom teaching experience with documented, strong student growth results. (Prior coaching or grade-level leadership experience preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, or Educational Leadership strongly preferred.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of Florida state standards, effective coaching frameworks, and data-driven instructional strategies.
Clearance: Active Florida Level 2 background clearance (via the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse / HB 531) or ability to clear prior to start.
References: 3 professional references, including at least one direct supervisor.
