- The Field Service Manager (FSM) provides coaching and troubleshooting support for a team of 8-12 satellite installation technicians.
- Enhance the quality of services provided to DISH Network customers in a safe, values-driven environment.
- Motivate and build a winning culture; train, develop, coach, and mentor team members to high performance.
- Follow defined work processes and standards while fostering a positive culture.
- Upsell products and services on-site in customers homes where appropriate.
- Identify and address issues affecting employee satisfaction and retention.
- Lead a team that achieves high customer satisfaction (extremely satisfied customers).
- Conduct performance reviews, coach on work-related issues, monitor workload, and review performance.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support to technicians; share information with the team as appropriate.
- Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment; provide safety training to prevent unsafe conditions.
- Conduct technician team load-out meetings; complete van inspections, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Investigate accidents or injuries and prepare findings reports.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies.
- Lift up to 80 pounds, climb ladders up to 40 feet, work in tight spaces, and work outside in all weather conditions.
- Stand for extended periods.
- 3+ years managing service/repair personnel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop and lead teams.
- Hands-on field technical experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
- Demonstrated effective computer and technology skills.
