Gainesville, FL Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time Electronics Technician position within a dynamic, growing sensor technology company. The position is responsible for the manufacture of prototype and production electronics. This includes electronic circuit assembly (surface mount and through hole), testing and calibration, electronic parts acquisition, and inventory administration. The Interdisciplinary Consulting Corporation (IC2) is seeking individuals who can perform all or many of the following responsibilities.

Candidates with partial qualifications are still encouraged to apply.

● Assemble PCBs via hand soldering and solder/paste reflow assembly.

● Perform PCB-level electronics test and debug using laboratory electronic test equipment.

● Assemble cables and wiring harnesses for sensor interfacing

● Validating technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that documentation matched design goals.

● Organizing and ordering components for prototype and production runs

● Super-user of the component inventory system

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

● Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electronics fabrication, test, and assembly experience

● Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

PREFERRED SKILLS/TRAITS

● Adept at using computers for data/design entry and extraction.

● AS/BS or Trade School degree in related engineering field

● Electronic assembly certification (IPC, EPTAC Certification)

● Extreme attention to detail and accuracy

● Highly organized and process oriented

● Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Hourly Rate: $20 - $28 /hr (depending on experience)
