In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in working with various departments to pull together information to create and revise Service Bulletins for customers. Use Engineering blueprints to create and revise customer Component Maintenance Manuals and other related manuals. - Creates technical documentation based on engineering drawings.
- Corresponds with Engineering and Manufacturing (and other applicable) departments to ensure correctness of technical documentation.
- Revises and maintains technical documentation based on engineering drawings and previous documentation.
- Creates and completes Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) updates and revisions as required.
- Creates and completes Service Bulletin/Service Information (SB/SIL) as required.
- Works within tight schedules to complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in English or technical discipline or equivalent experience (6 Years in a related field) highly recommended. - Work Experience – Technical knowledge:
Minimum two years' experience in technical writing desirable. - Professional
Skills:
Must have working knowledge of blueprints. Knowledge of Safran Seats USA products preferred. Understanding of ATA Spec 2200 preferred. Proficiency in at least 2 of the following programs or equivalent software recommended:
Arbortext Framemaker, Graphic software such as Iso Draw, Corel. Must have ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English. - Behavioral
Skills:
Ability to take initiative, accept responsibility, adaptability-flexibility, self-confidence, self-motivation. - Desirable Aspects:
Ability to work in Catia V5 to pull views needed.
This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using miscellaneous office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job. Work environment: office setting with moderate office noise.
