As a member of Safran Seats, you will play a major role in delivering over one million seats to airlines worldwide. You will work collaboratively to support passengers and crew, bringing state‑of‑the‑art solutions to market.

• Assist team members with CAD/PLM software (Pro‑Engineer, CATIA, etc.)
• Provide product improvement support, troubleshoot advanced engineering software challenges, and produce written documentation for the support team.
• Manage technical support cases for multiple clients, resolving technical, business, and logical software issues.
• Identify and document software issues, collaborating with Engineering to achieve resolution.
• Develop innovative technical solutions and system improvements for CAD/PLM software.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support internal customers on current and future CAD/PLM system processes.
• Create customizations and automation for CATIA and/or Pro/E.
• Train users to support projects and departmental goals.
• Maintain CAD/PLM environments, including databases, settings, reference data, and user accounts.
• Manage CAE software installations and support.
• Manage CAM software (e.g., EdgeCAM, Master
  
  CAM) installations and support.

• Education & Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or 12 years of related experience.
• Work Experience
  • Additional 8 years of support experience in managing CAD/PLM systems.
  • Experience in problem‑solving teams and employee mentoring.
  • Lean or Six Sigma training desired.
• Professional Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in CATIA and/or Pro/E CAD software.
  • Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware (server setup, database administration).
  • Experience with Model Based Definition, Functional Tolerancing, Annotation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Root‑cause analysis and corrective action knowledge.
  • Mechanical design knowledge.
  • Experience with CAD and PLM software installation procedures (CATIA, Pro/Engineer, Smar Team, Intralink).
  • Strong written communication skills in English.

  • Knowledge of RCCA, CATIA V5, Smar Team, Windchill 4.
