Water/Wastewater Engineer

We are currently searching for an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to support our Southeast Region located in any of our Florida offices.

To be considered, applicants must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering.

• Designing water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater distribution planning, master planning, and treatment plant rehabilitation and expansions
• Managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and providing regular communication and guidance with less experienced staff
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external clients to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
• Maintaining a high degree of quality in sets of plans and checking the work of others
• Creating work plans and adhering to the budget set by the client while exercising strong project management knowledge
• Attending meetings and communicating with clients, government entities, and regulatory agencies to fulfill all regulatory requirements related to projects
• Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules

• Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering
• Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Florida required
• 5‑10 years of relevant engineering design experience, including FDOT experience
• Relevant municipal engineering experience designing pump stations, pipelines, and water/wastewater treatment facilities
• Experience performing hydraulic modeling using programs such as Water
  
  GEMS, Sewer
  
  GEMS, Info Water, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening; if applicable, a post‑offer fit‑for‑duty evaluation
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
