Gainesville, FL. Salary: $21.00–$30.00 per hour.

The Stylist team plays a critical role in engaging guests, consulting on hair care needs, and delivering high‑quality services aligned with Ulta’s mission and values.

• Perform a full range of hair services, including cut, color, style, and treatments.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals of $800 in hair services and contribute to overall store sales performance.
• Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to drive retail sales.
• Participate in in‑store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date industry knowledge, including trends and product ingredients.
• Develop and maintain strong guest relationships through consultations and personalized service.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail staff to deliver a cohesive guest experience.
• Adhere to Ulta’s policies, safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Use booking and client‑management systems to schedule repeat services.
• Communicate supply needs and maintain operational standards throughout the salon.

• Cosmetology license.
• Preferred previous salon experience.
• Proficiency in salon techniques, equipment, and chemical usage.
• Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to promote professional hair and makeup products.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to building lasting client relationships.

• Frequent mobility, lifting up to 10 lb., and repetitive bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
